I am not someone who finds it easy to keep quiet about her enthusiasms, so this page is pure pleasure for me. And I mean pure pleasure: nothing gets a mention unless I love it. Of course, sourcing products can be tricky geographically, and I can't promise that everything here will be available everywhere. If there is only a UK supplier mentioned, I suggest you get a-googling wherever you are! If you have any finds you want to tell me about, then please do post your suggestions to the forum!
PASTA PASSION
Caz Hildebrand, the co- author (with the hot and talented chef Jacob Kenedy) of The Geometry of Pasta, has been my art director/ book designer since How to Eat, so I already knew how fantastically talented she was!  And I've been looking forward to this since it was a twinkle in her eye.  It doesn't disappoint:  the book is incredibly chic, with it's bold, black and white (and witty) geometrically designed illustrations; its explanations of which sauces go best with which particular pasta are illuminating and inspiring;  and the over 100 recipes have panting to get into my kitchen.  There aren't food photographs, which I don't mind, and don't feel the book needs, but I offer up a snap I took of the Strozzapreti, Calamari e Broccoli we had very enjoyably for lunch one day at Cupcake Towers!
