One of my favourite Nigella recipes. I love how homely and welcoming it looks when made as a whole cake... and with a lot of coffee lovers in my house this doesn't stay around for long! I use a certain type of espresso powder that doesn't completely dissolve into the frosting which adds extra texture to the cake!

  • I like the coffee flecks in the frosting. It looks like it would give you a good coffee whack in the face!
