I come from a small town in India. We don't get many ingredients here... had to cook the recipe doing some substituitions but it turned out great. I even gave it to my neighbours who loved it just as much. I even had to search the web to know what could I substitute some of the ingredients with. like vanilla essence instead of vanilla extract and the proportion to substitute it with. In my first attemt the glaze wasn't perfect but in my second try it was just the right consistency.
