I actually have already given a quote for the back jacket, but I still wanted to bring this book to your attention here, simply because it is one of the most fascinating food reads I've come across for a long time. Now, I know it can't but appeal to me, as I am something of a kitchen gadget obsessive (for good and bad) but I honestly think it is a real treat for anyone who spends time, pleasurably, in the kitchen.
