Do you know where Nigella's hen-shaped wire basket (the one she keeps her eggs in) comes from? Also where can I buy the small egg whisk Nigella often uses on her show? Thank you! Leah

There are several chicken or hen-shaped wire baskes available that are similar to Nigella's. Andrew James and Kitchen Craft both have chicken-shaped wire baskets and Amazon carries a selection of similar baskets. Chicken-shaped baskets have been popular for some time so it is also worth looking for vintage versions which can usually be found on eBay or in car boot sales and second-hand, thrift or vintage stores.
The small whisks used by Nigella are known in the UK as "magic whisks". They are now very popular and available in many kitchenware stores and on-line. In the US they are known as a "vinaigrette whisk", a "bent coil whisk" or a "bent pan" whisk. They are more difficult to find in the US but some specialist cookware suppliers have them or you can find them on-line. We have given a link below to a US supplier as a suggestion, but other sources are available.
