Keeping Chinese Plum Sauce

I am making the Chinese Plum sauce from Domestic Goddess, but the book doesn't say how long it will keep for. How long does it last after making? Thanks!
Our answer
Nigella's Chinese Plum sauce (from Domestic Goddess) is similar to a chutney (though slightly runnier). It should therefore keep for up to a year, if it has been put into sterilized jars.
It is best too keep the sauce in a cool, dark place and once the sauce has been opened the jar should be kept in the fridge and used within one month.
