• Linguine With Smoked Mackerel

  I was watching your show for the first time and we were interested in trying the linguine with leeks and smoked mackerel. Where can I find that recipe? Odes South Carolina, USA

  From the nigella team:

  We suspect that the recipe you are referring to is Pasta with Mackerel, Marsala & Pine Nuts which was featured on Nigella's new show Nigellissima (on BBC 2) and the book Nigellissima (p32). The pasta sauce contains shallots, raisins, marsala, smoked mackerel, pine nuts, dill and capers. It is Nigella's interpretation of a Sicilian pasta dish which is made with sardines, raisins and capers. It is also a useful storecupboard standby recipe.

  Unfortunately the recipe is not currently available on-line but the book is currently on sale in the UK and the US version is due to be published on February 12th, 2013 by Crown Publishers.
