Where can I buy the matte black frying pan that Nigella used in the chocolate pasta recipe in Nigellissima?
Hello, what make was the large black pan used by Nigella last week to make the chocolate pasta with butterscotch sauce and pecans? Thanks! RSM

The frying pan usually used by Nigella is made by Alessi and it is the Mami Black frying pan - code no. SG110/30 B. It is often available through Amazon but at time of writing it is out of stock in the UK. Alessi also list the pan as out of stock on their UK on-line store but you can sign up there for notification when it becomes available again. The pan also appears to be out of stock with US retailers at present as well.
Alessi do however have a deep frying pan which has a silver handle rather than a black one. They also have a black pan called La Cintura which is a crepe pan so a slightly smaller size.
The Alessi UK and US websites are below. You can also access their on-line shop for other countries by clicking on the flag in the top right hand corner of the page.
