  • Nigella's Ice Cream Containers

I watched Nigella make her No Churn Coffee Ice Cream and will be having a go soon, but I cannot find anywhere to buy the ice cream tubs used on the TV show. Where do you get yours from please?

Hi, I' ve just watched the new episode of Nigellissima (wonderful as always!) where she made a No Churn Coffee Ice Cream. Nigella used some great plain ice-cream tubs to freeze this in and I just wondered where these were sourced as I would love some for my own kitchen? If you could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful. Many thanks. Caroline.

Hi, I have been glued to Nigellisma on BBC 2 and I noticed Nigella using her own paper ice cream tubs for her No Churn Coffee Ice Cream. Can you tell me where these can be bought from? Thanks Lou.

    From the nigella team:

The paper tubs used by Nigella to store the No Churn Coffee Ice cream are 500ml capacity. Quite often they are sold as 16 oz paper soup cups. There are several websites where you can buy these continers, though many of the sites are for the catering industry so the containers are sold in fairly large quantities.

We have found the containers on a website in smaller volumes (see link below). You may also find the containers in some cash and carry stores though the number in each box may vary according to the store. If you can only find the containers in larger volumes then it may be worth getting together with a few friends and buying a box to split between you (and this will be more cost effective).

When buying the containers please check whether the lids are included - some vendors sell the lids separately.
