I recently purchased "Nigellissima" and made the No-Churn Coffee Ice Cream - it was out of this world! My question is can I use the basic recipe and substitute ingredients such as peach, cherries, etc. and if so how do I judge the correct amount of each different fruit flavor? And should I use a liquor such as peach schnapps or cherry liquor to enhance the fruit flavour? Thanks, Joe Todaro

The No-Churn Coffee Ice Cream from Nigellissima has been a huge hit thanks to its ease of preparation and wonderful texture and flavour. At the moment Nigella doesn't have any other ice creams made using condensed milk and whipped cream, though she does have other delicious recipes for no-churn ice creams based on fruits and whipped cream. We would suggest looking at Pomegranate No-Churn Ice Cream and Margarita Ice Cream, from Nigella Express, and No-Churn Bitter Orange Ice Cream from Nigella Bites. All of these recipes are available on Nigella's website.
With no-churn ice creams it is a delicate balance of water, fats, sugar and alcohol that give flavour and texture to the ice cream and you may find you need to experiment a little with other combinations. We would however mention that other website users have been posting suggestions for variations of no-churn ice creams, both as recipes on Nigella's website and as comments below Nigella's no-churn ice creams. Whilst we have not tested any of the variants and so cannot vouch for their accuracy, you may find some of these useful if you are experimenting with various flavours.
