Hello, I have made the Sweet and Salty Crunch Nut Bars and they are delicious. However, I have a problem with them "sweating" ie. water droplets forming on them once I put them in the fridge. I make sure they are as cool as possible beforehand, but it still happens. I have had this problem with other homemade chocolate snacks before, too. What can I do? Thank you

The air in a fridge is obvioulsy very cold and this can affect different foods in differnt ways. The air will draw moisture out of some items, particularly uncovered fruit and vegetables and the moisture drawn out will tend to condense into water droplets on other items, particularly ones that may be slightly warm when they go into the fridge.
The best way to try and avoid this is to make sure that the Sweet and Salty Nut Crunch Bars (from Kitchen) are tightly sealed in an airtight container rather than just covered with foil or clingfilm (plastic wrap) . Put pieces of baking parchment in between the layers of bars as this will help to absorb some of the moisture, and you could also try using kitchen roll (paper towels) instead to absorb some of the moisture - though the Crunchie (honeycomb) element of the bar may soften more quickly. If it is a very consistent problem for you then you could see if your fridge is a little too cold, ideally it should be between 3c and 5 c / 37F and 41F. Some fridges also have condenser units at the back so store the bars away from this area and if you have space then the door of the fridge would be a good place to store the bars as this is the warmest area of the fridge.
