Since it is Mother's Day in so many countries around the world — though not in my own — this coming Sunday, I expect many of you (I certainly hope!) will be rustling up treats, or be in line to receive one.
I love the idea that some of you may be lucky enough to be having a multi-generational family celebration with, maybe, the Strawberry Shortcakes for the simple but grand finale, but I have other ideas, too. How about breakfast in bed with Ricotta Hotcakes or a maternal visit with a batch of Totally Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies?
Though for me, Mother's Day means only one thing: a bowl of My Mother's Praised Chicken, eaten in her memory.
