I am not someone who finds it easy to keep quiet about her enthusiasms, so this page is pure pleasure for me. And I mean pure pleasure: nothing gets a mention unless I love it. Of course, sourcing products can be tricky geographically, and I can't promise that everything here will be available everywhere. If there is only a UK supplier mentioned, I suggest you get a-googling wherever you are! If you have any finds you want to tell me about, then please do post your suggestions to the forum!
TOO TOO SWEET
My tutu-wearing days may be well behind me, but I can't stop looking at this ravishing eau-de-nil creation, designed by Stella Macartney for Gap Kids and apparently, and poignantly, inspired by a photo of Stella taken by her mother.  And I've even managed to find an excuse to buy two - one for my little niece's Christmas present, another for my not-so-little daughter's birthday.  Ssssh - it's a secret, obviously.

Buy it from Gap for just £35.  Available in sizes up to age 13 years.

HETTIE'S COCKTAIL OF THE WEEK
FRENCH MARTINI
It’s the Chambord - a black raspberry liqueur that was originally sipped by Louis 14th - that makes this martini ‘French’ in what has since become a classic cocktail mixed with vodka and, counter-intuitively and rewardingly, pineapple juice.

2 (25ml) shots vodka
Half (25ml) shot Chambord
2 (25ml) shots pineapple juice
Lemon

1.  Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the vodka, Chambord and pineapple juice.
2.  Shake and then strain into a martini glass, and pare a strip of lemon rind, adding to your cocktail.
