INTRODUCTION
This is the wholesome, comforting version of a trad English (white) bread and butter pudding that my maternal grandmother always made. Use apricot jam or regular orange marmalade if ginger's not your thing.

I've made this twice now. The first time I didn't have enough eggs, so used 2 egg yolks and 1 egg, and about 100ml less cream. The second time I followed the recipe. Personally I prefered it the first way as the recipe was too rich for me otherwise. However, I got a lot of compliments both times! Very quick, simple and delicious pudding.
kawaiii74I think it's a great recipe, however what do you think about strawberry perserves, just curious not a ginger lover or orange either and I was thinking that this would work.
