Recently I was in hospital and the food was pretty awful but they did do good mash and mashed swede and some cheesy egg flans. Since my release I have been enjoying some real food again and will soon embark on some spring cleaning before I start a weight gain diet. But back to the hospital food and my new fondness for swede mash and mustard. Actually I was inspired by River cottage recipe. I used lots of good butter and an egg and you can top with grated cheese before popping in the oven, serve with some over cooked brussel sprouts on the side.
