Rice With Dill and Green Beans

Great meal for lunch :)

Ingredients

Serves: 4-5

  • 3 cups basmati rice
  • 1 cup fresh dill (roughly chopped)
  • 2 cups fava beans
  • 3 cups chicken broth concentrate or cube
  • 2 small button onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 teaspoons black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons oil

Method

  • Cut the green beans in half and then peel off the outside layer.
  • Put your pot on medium heat then add the oil and the onions and garlic. Add the black pepper and the salt and let it cook till golden.
  • Then add the green beans, leave it for 3 minutes then add the chicken stock. Let it boil, then add your rice.
  • Leave it for 15 minutes then check it and leave it over low heat for 15 minutes then check it if it's done.
  • You can serve it with chicken or meat :)
