  • 3 medium eggs
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 350 grams butter
  • 300 millilitres milk
  • 300 grams flour
  • baking powder
  • 200 grams dark chocolate
  • coconut flour
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 9 ounces sugar
  • 12 ounces butter
  • 10½ fluid ounces milk
  • 11 ounces flour
  • baking powder
  • 7 ounces bittersweet chocolate

Method

Chocolate Coconut Fuzzies is a community recipe submitted by sugarbaby and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  1. Put 3 egg yolks and 250 g sugar in a bowl and whisk it for about 5 minutes with a mixer so that it becomes light yellow. Add 50 g butter and go on whisking. Add 200 ml milk and go on whisking. Add flour, 1,5 table spoon baking powder and whisk lightly.
  2. Whisk 3 egg whites until stiff and add them to the mixture. Whisk gently.
  3. Pour into a baking tin about 2,5 cm high and bake at 200 degrees C for about 25 minutes or until it is golden brown.
  4. Let it cool completely. Cut the dough into cubes (4x4 cm).
  5. Put chocolate, 250 g butter and 1 dcl milk into a bowl and melt it. Whisk gently all the time so that all the ingredients melt togehther completely. Put one cube at the time in the chocolaty mixture so that it is completely covered, then quickly roll the cube in coconut flour. Let the fuzzies cool.
