What does this mean?

Christmas is so incomplete without Eggnog...I have this easy to pipe glaze that you could pipe on cakes/cookies/bars...

Ingredients

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 4 tablespoons dark rum
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon mixed spice
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Method

Eggnog:

  1. Whisk together egg yolk, rum, cream, spice powder.

For icing:

  1. In a bowl combine powdered sugar, vanilla and about 2 tablespoons of the eggnog.
  2. Mix additional eggnog for piping consistency and pour into piping bags and pipe.
