What does this mean?

This is a variation on regular hummus, that kids seem to favour, as it's milder and sweeter.

Ingredients

Switch to Cup Measures
  • 400 grams chickpeas (tinned)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 60 ml lemon juice
  • 400 grams creamed sweetcorn (tinned)
  • salt (to taste)

Method

  1. Put the garlic in a processor and whiz. Then add the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, creamed corn and salt.
  2. Process until smooth. Serve with pita chips, cooked green beans and any other vegetable sticks you prefer.
