DONNA HAY'S EASY MAC AND CHEESE

Barely a recipe, but something that is very handy to whip up when you're in dire need of quick comfort food!

Ingredients

  • Vegetarian
  • Two cups of macaroni
  • 1/2 Cup (4floz) cream
  • 3/4 Cup (6floz) milk
  • 3/4 Cup grated cheddar cheese
  • parmesan cheese to taste (optional)

Method

  1. Cook two cups of macaroni for six minutes or until cooked to your liking.
  2. Drain and return to saucepan, then add 1/2 a cup (4 floz) cream, 3/4 cup (6fl oz) of milk and 3/4 cup of grated cheddar cheese to the pan with the macaroni and stir over low heat until the cheese melts and the mixture is thick.
  3. I usually add some parmesan too:)
