Ingredients

Serves: 4

Metric Cups
  • 100 grams garlic & herb cream cheese
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • nutmeg
  • 250 grams swede (cubed)
  • 250 grams carrots (cubed)
  • 4 ounces garlic & herb cream cheese
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • nutmeg
  • 9 ounces rutabaga (cubed)
  • 9 ounces carrots (cubed)

  • Cook the veg per the instructions, or boil/steam home prepared version until tender - 15-20 mins.
  • Mash till smooth then blend in the cream cheese.
  • Season with salt - you won't need much because of the cheese, pepper and a good twist of freshly ground nutmeg.
  • Serve with any meat or fish. This also makes a delicious cold dip.
