Home Made Miso Soup With Noodles

Introduction

This is so simple and ULTRA nutritious when I need a power packed and super easy lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Serves: 2

  • 2 packets miso soup powder
  • rice noodles
  • silken tofu
  • any vegetables
  • 1 packet tuna (safcol gourmet tuna with lemon and black pepper in spring water)

Method

  • Put enough noodles in a noodle bowl for your appetite, sprinkle over Miso sachettes and pour enough boiling water over to cover noodles. Either leave to sit 5 mins or put in microwave for 3 mins depending on how firm or soft you like your noodles.
  • Add your left over veges, or prepare freshly cooked veges.
  • Add Tofu.
  • Add Fish last and combine well.
  • Serve with crusty bread if desired. (Can be microwaved for a few mins if veges are straight out of fridge.)
  • Additional Information

    You can make this recipe your own by adding whatever ingredients suit you, for example Japanese style mushrooms etc. The fish has enough seasoning but you can add a squirt of lime juice or even a bit of Soy sauce or other asian type seasoning, even a bit of ginger or wasabi if you like it hot. Enjoy.
