Place chicken in large pot over medium heat. Add chicken, honey and garlic. Put lid on and simmer 10 min.
Brown onion in ovenproof saucepan with 2 tbsp. oil until browned slightly.
Add bacon and cook until bacon is crisp. Add all other ingredients and simmer 10 min.
Add chicken to chickpeas and place in oven for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden and liquid is almost gone.
Serve warm.
