Ingredients

  • 8 large potatoes (peeled and cut into chunks)
  • ½ pint cream
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Method

  1. Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water until tender.
  2. Drain and mash until smooth.
  3. Add the cream, butter, seasoning, and nutmeg and mix well into your lovely mashed potato.
