What does this mean?

Great family dish, especially on a cold day and served in a bowl with crusty bread to mop it all up with. The ultimate winter comfort dish.

Ingredients

Switch to Cup Measures
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon tomato puree
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can butter beans
  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 1 large chorizo (chopped)
  • 1 splash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 chilli (optional)

Method

  1. Fry onion and garlic until softened in a large saucepan
  2. Add all other ingredients and leave to simmer for 30 minutes
  3. Serve hot or cold- delicious either way!
