ORANGES IN ROSEWATER SYRUP

Ingredients
- 2 oranges (peel from)
- ¾ cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 6 oranges
- 1 teaspoon orange flower water
- 1 teaspoon rosewater essence
Method
- Zest the peel off 2 of the oranges, place the peel in some water and cook the peel until it becomes translucent and soft.
- In a separate pan place the Orange Juice and Sugar simmer until it becomes a thick ish syrup, add the cooked zest and leave to cool.
- Peel the remaining Oranges making sure you have removed all the pith, at this stage you can either segment the oranges by cutting out the segments with a knife or slice the oranges into thin slices.
- Once Syrup has cooled mix in the Orange Flower water and Rose Water Essence to the cooled Syrup, and pour over the Orange segments/slices,
- Place in refrigerator to chill completely. It can remain the the fridge for up to 12 hours.
