  • Bring a pan of water to the boil and add a tsp of olive oil.
  • Roughly dice the onions and have the garlic ready to crush.
  • Cut the streaky bacon into small squares (i find it easier to use scissors), and grate all of the cheese.
  • When the water is boiling add the pasta, put the lid over but leave a gap for the steam to get out as this will stop it from boiling over.
  • Heat up 1 tsp of Olive oil in a non stick frying pan (if you dont have non stick then a normal one wil do). When really hot add the onion and garlic, when they start to soften down add the streaky bacon and leave to cook.
  • Turn your oven on to about 180 with a fan oven if not use your grill. When the streaky bacon is cooked turn the gas right down and add the tomatoe sauce and the all of the drained sweetcorn. Put a lid over it and leave the gas down low.
  • When the pasta is cooked drain the water and put in baking dish, add the contents of the frying pan and half of the cheese, mix well.
  • Then Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top evenly and pop in the oven or under the grill until the cheese has melted nicley. Serve with bread and butter or on its own. Any leftover can be heated up the following day for a quick lunch. Mmm Lovley.
