Ingredients
- 1.1 lb self-raising flour
- 8 oz butter (or margarine)
- 4 beaten eggs
- 1 lb golden raisins
- 10 oz granulated sugar
- 1 tin pineapples (use cheap tinned pineapple, fruit juice or syrup based, and whiz it up in a blender)
Method
- Melt butter in microwave
- Add sugar and pineapple
- When cool ,add eggs,fruit and flour Place in 2 greased and floured 1lb tins
- Bake at gas 2/300f for approx 1 3/4 hours Cool in tin slightly before tirning out onto cake wire.

nb you can substitute the pineapple for peaches in own juice.this cake keeps well and freezes beautifully
