What does this mean?

Yummy lamb pasta dish which is handy to stash in the freezer for those days you hit the ground running.

Ingredients

Switch to Cup Measures
  • 500 grams minced lamb
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 red pepper (deseeded and diced)
  • 190 grams red pesto
  • 400 grams chopped tomatoes
  • 150 grams dried pasta

Method

  1. In a deep wide pan fry mince, onion and garlic for 5 min.
  2. Stir in peppers, pesto and tomatoes and simmer for 20mins.
  3. Cook the pasta, when ready, drain and add to meat sauce.
  4. Serve or Cool and freeze up to 3 months. Defrost at room temp, tip into saucepan add a splash of water and reheat for approx 10 min till piping hot
