What does this mean?

Well, such an easy delicious pudding, or just a snack, that will keep for ages in the fridge after making (if you've not already eaten it all!)

Ingredients

for the base

  • 4 oz butter
  • 8 oz graham crackers
  • 5 oz plain chocolate
  • 1 oz raisins
  • 2 oz candied or glazed cherries
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup

for the fudge icing

  • 2 oz plain chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1 oz butter
  • 6 oz confectioners' sugar

Method

  1. For the base: Crush the biscuits, leaving some chunks for texture.
  2. Melt the butter, chocolate & syrup in a pan. Stir in the raisins and cherries, then add and stir in the crushed biscuits
  3. Spoon the mixture into the lined rectangular loaf tin and press down
  4. For the icing: Melt the chocolate and butter, and add the 2tsp water over the heat. Gradually add the confectioners' sugar.
  5. Pour over the biscuit base and refrigerate for 2 or more hours, before cutting into lumps and eating!
