Can I Make The Jumbo Chilli Sauce Without Coriander?

The Jumbo Chilli Sauce (from Kitchen) packs a punch as it is made with a combination of roasted red peppers, garlic, red chillies and coriander (cilantro). It is ideal alongside grilled or roasted fish and meat, cold cuts or as a dip. It would also be a great replacement for American-style shrimp cocktail sauce.

Coriander is used fairly generously in the sauce and we do understand that coriander is not for everyone. In this case, it is probably best to omit the coriander as there isn't really a good replacement for the herb. Other soft herbs, such as parsley or basil, have a different taste and will affect the overall flavour of the sauce. Coriander adds a slightly citrussy note, so if you are making the sauce without coriander then taste it after making and add an extra squeeze or two of lime to brighten the sauce more, if you feel that it is needed.
