Can I Use Large US Eggs For The Nutella Brownies?

Nigella's Nutella Brownies (from SIMPLY NIGELLA) are made with just two ingredients, Nutella and eggs, plus a pinch of salt. In the UK edition of the book Nigella uses large eggs. The US edition has extra large eggs as the size classification for eggs is different for the US and Europe.

UK large eggs are classified as 63-73g. US large eggs are 56.8g-63.8g (2-2.25 ounces) and extra large eggs are 63.8g-70.8g (2.25-2.5 ounces). There is a very slight crossover in the size of large eggs. Generally we would prefer to use extra large eggs for this recipe, particularly as the eggs are a major ingredient. However, if you only have US large eggs at home then could probably use these and try to pick out the largest ones from the box.
