Could you please tell me where I can buy a wooden carving board like the one Nigella used on episode 4 of Nigellissima (Butterflied Lamb recipe)? Thank you. Watermelon77.
Hello. I have tried and failed, despite considerable internet prowess, to find a stove top espresso maker as lovely as the one Nigella used to accompany her Sambuca kisses on her Nigellissima TV show. I fear it might be because it is vintage, but if not please let me know. Thanks Rachel.

Nigella has a collection of much loved kitchen equipment that she has owned for a long time - she bought the coffee pot when she was 24! Unfortunately the wooden carving board and silver coloured espresso pot are both part of that collection and so we regret that we are unable to give sources for these items.
The carving board has a spike in the middle to help to anchor the joint of meat that is being carved and also has grooves to catch any juices running from the meat. Similar boards can be bought from larger department stores, such as John Lewis, kitchenware stores and on-line.
Nigella's coffee pot is a stove top espresso coffee percolator. Ther model is called "la Signora" and very occasionally they appear on auction websites such as eBay. However, it is worth mentioning that probably the best known form of these is the Bialetti Moka express. These can be found in many stores and on-line and are inexpensive and functional. They can be bought in several sizes, though the smaller ones are usually more popular.
