The Tiramisu recipe from "Kitchen" calls for instant expresso powder as do quite a few other recipes I have come across, however, I cannot seem to find this in any of the supermarkets or even online at Italian delis - please could you advise a source for this product if possible? Thanks Jon Birch

If you are in the UK then Carte Noire instant expresso powder is a fine powder which is good for the recipes you mention and should be fairly readily available in major supermarkets. Nescafe also does a fine instant espresso powder which is distributed through the major supermarkets. Both are also available via the home delivery services from Sainsbury's, Tesco and Ocado (though availability may vary by region). Failing this they can both be found on Amazon.
If you are in the US then Medaglia D'Oro do a similar instant espresso powder which is fairly widely available. You can find a list of stores which stock their products via their website below. Nescafe instant espresso powder is also available in parts of the US and Amazon carries several brands of espresso powder.

If you are trying to find the powder on-line in other countries it is worth checking for both "instant expresso" and "instant espresso" as the spelling does vary by brand.
