Hi Nigella & Co, I've seen an episode of Nigella Express countless times where Nigella cooks cocktail sausages with honey, soy sauce and sesame oil. My question is where can I find the delightful colourful cocktail sticks used to serve the sausages. I've looked almost everywhere!

Some jewelled cocktail sticks (also known as party picks) very similar to those used by Nigella were being sold on-line by Lakeland in the UK. Unfortunately we believe that they may have now been discontinued, though it is worth checking their website just in case. Otherwise you may be able to find some other decorative cocktail sticks on-line from partyware suppliers and some on-line liquor companies also sell items like cocktail sticks.
Some Asian stores may also sell attractive bamboo picks as an alternative. We have seen some with red beads on-line (the link below is an example). You can also try stores such as Heal's and John Lewis who sometimed sell novelty cocktail sticks in the summer. In the US Oriental Trading usually have a large selection of party picks.
