    What would the American equivalents be for the honeycomb candy, and golden syrup used in Nigella's Sweet and Salty Nut Crunch Bars (from Kitchen)? Thank you!

    From the nigella team:

    For Nigella's Sweet And Salty Nut Crunch Bars are made with a UK product called "Crunchie Bars" which are a honeycomb candy coated in chocolate. In the US the candy is often known as sponge candy and in some states also as sea foam or angel food candy. You may need to go to a good candy store to find it. Unfortunately Butterfinger bars are not quite the same as they are peanut butter flavored and also the Butterfinger texture is different to the traditional honyecomb. You could also try making your own honeycomb using NIgella's Hokey Pokey recipe (see related recipe link).

    Golden syrup is a type of sugar syrup. It is now widely available in the US under the Lyle's brand. If you can't find it then you could use light corn syrup as an alternative, both for the Nut Crunch bars and for the Hokey Pokey.
