  does anyone know where i can buy sea salt in bulk in the uk/or online as i want to make nigellas christmas salt for some xmas pressies, many thanks

  From the nigella team:

  Malson sea salt flakes are ideal for making Christmas-Spiced Salt. It is only available in 250g boxes but it is fairly widely distributed in the UK and although it is more expensive than regular salt you should be able to buy it at a reasonable price in the supermarket. In the US Maldon salt can be bought in Whole Foods and some gourmet markets.

  Cornish sea salt is also a good-quality salt and is available in most branches of Waitrose. Larger 500g tubs can also be bought on-line at:
