Well, it's a bit late in the day to surprise anyone with my love for salted caramel: my secret love's no secret any more. And yes, I am happy to shout it from the highest hill, which means that of today my recipe for what happens to be only the best Salted Caramel Sauce in the world (immodest but there you are) as well as the simplest is now available on the site. This recipe was created for the update to my app, the Quick Collection but its two satellite recipes - for Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate and Salted Caramel Brandy Butter - are more recent developments and, obviously, seasonal ones.  The same is true of my cocktail of the moment, a Salted Caramel Martini which is almost alarmingly knock-back-able. I always knew that bottle of butterscotch schnapps would come in useful...!


It goes without saying (or should do) that if you are not one of us who have a thing for salted caramel, you can simply leave the salt out of all the above recipes.
