Although this is called Kitchen Witter, I am afraid I have been banished - or have banished myself - to my Cell these past few days. Some people would call it a study or an office, but really it is a cell: no windows, no views, nothing on the walls; all there's room for is a desk, a chair and a computer.
I love writing with my laptop at the kitchen table, but as the deadline grows closer, even I accept that stricter measures are called for. The photographic shoot for Nigellissima starts on April 11th by which time the books should be safely with my publishers and, in fact, already edited.
Wish me luck folks! And please be forgiving if I don't put on new Witters as often as I'd like for a while. It's back to the Cell for me now….
