One of the things I love about food - apart from eating it, of course - is that it is a such a wonderful, significant unit of communication. Hence, it gives me particular pleasure to give you a recipe for My Brandy Alexander Pie since it is by way of a response to a tweet, and then a recipe posted for said pie from ddelectables and I am very grateful to her. The reason I posted my own version is that I am unable to cook without fiddling and tweaking, and actually that - for me - is part of the conversation. That is why I enjoy twitter and this website so much: it feels like a community chatting happily away amongst itself, amongst ourselves - and I really value and enjoy that. Keep it coming!
