Ingredients

Serves: 10-12 servings per 10 oz jars

Metric Cups
  • 30 large peeled and sliced green apples
  • 2 cups superfine sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons rosewater

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons rosewater

Method

  • In a large, heavy bottom pot on medium heat, mix all ingredients.
  • Cover, and bring to gentle boil.
  • Continue stirring until smooth and thickened, approximately 45 minutes.
  • Let cool.
  • Store in air tight glass jars that are clean and dry.
  • Label and use on toast or on pancakes.
  • You can give away the extra jars as gifts.
