  • 2 sheets shortcrust pastry
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 125 millilitres milk
  • 1 pinch of herbs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • cooked chicken (or filling of your choice)

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 200°c.
  • Using a 6.5cm scone cutter, cut rounds of pastry. Divide onion and the filling between a patty pan tin.
  • Combine the eggs, milk and seasonings. Beat well with a fork.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the quiches.
  • Put in herbs and press into the egg.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown on the bottom.
