Ingredients

  • 18 oz yellow cake mix (one package, butter recipe)
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 5 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups confectioners' sugar

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Mix cake mix, 3 eggs, butter, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, pat into 13" X 9" pan. 
  3. Mix softened cream cheese, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 2 eggs with mixer.  
  4. Slowly beat in powdered sugar. 
  5. Pour over cake, bake for 40-45 minutes, cool.
