Ingredients

Switch to Cup Measures
  • 1 cauliflower
  • 1 kilogram potatoes
  • 125 ml fresh root ginger cut into thin strips
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 salt To taste
  • 250 ml tomato puree
  • 250 ml fresh coriander Chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Method

  1. Cut potatoes in small cubes.
  2. Remove leaves of Cauliflower and cut evenly into pieces .
  3. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Add cumin seeds. When sizzle,add ginger strips.
  4. Add potatoes and fry .
  5. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder.
  6. Saute well for 5 mins
  7. Add cauliflower florals.
  8. Mix well for 5 mins.
  9. Add little water and simmer for 10 mins at low heat.
  10. When almost done add Tomato puree. Cover the skillet.
  11. Simmer for 15 mins at low heat.
  12. When done add coriander leaves and serve with naan bread or roti.
