What does this mean?

Love bread pudding and since we have a fig tree love brandied fig sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups brandy
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup dried mission figs
  • ⅓ cup water

Method

  1. Combine brandy, sugar, figs and water in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over low heat.
  2. Cover and gently simmer 10 minutes. Uncover and simmer until reduced to 1 cup. Should take around 20 minutes.
  3. Serve warm over bread pudding.
