Introduction

An ABSOLUTELEY yummy cookie...really fun to make as well.After the cookies have cooled, you can make a simple glace icing, spread it over the cookies , and sprinkle some silver dragees over them. Then they'll make great gifts cuz their so pretty.You can use a little less cinammon if you like.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup softened unsalted butter
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Method

  • In a medium bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Beat in egg yolks, then stir in milk.
  • In another bowl, combine flour, cinammon, baking powder and salt. Stir into wet ingredients until well blended.
  • Wrap dough and chill for at least 2 hrs.
  • Preheat oven to 175.C.
  • On a slightly floured surface, roll dough into 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out cookies using a cookie cutter.
  • Place cookies 1 inch apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 min, until brown.
