This is a light weight chocolate cake that has been passed down in my family.

Ingredients

For the cake

  • 1 packet swiss chocolate cake mix
  • 1 ball instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup Kahlua

For the icing

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 large Hershey bar
  • 12 oz cool whip

Method

  1. sift cake mix and pudding together
  2. In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, oil, and kahlua together add dry mixture beat well
  3. pour into three pans bake at 325 or 350 until done, about 25 minutes

Icing

  1. Beat all together until creamy
  2. Grate the hershey bar and add to mixture
  3. Fold in 12 ounces Cool Whip
