HUMMUS

Here is the recipe of my homemade hummus which is tasty and flavory. You can serve it as an appertizer with pitta bread and fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

  • Yoghurt - 150 g (I used Greek yogurt)
  • 1 can of chick peas, rinsed and drained
  • 450 g tahini (sesame seed paste)
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 1/2 tsp of salt water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves
  • 4 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons pepper

1 teaspoon cumin

Method

Mix all ingredients in a food processor to blend until smooth and to desired thickness.
