Ingredients

Serves: 10- 15

Metric Cups
  • 100 grams butter
  • 100 millilitres sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 300 millilitres rolled oats (or porridge oats)
  • 3 tablespoons coffee (cold, or orange juice or alcohol)
  • sprinkles (or toasted chopped nuts or shredded coconut)
  • 4 ounces butter
  • 3½ fluid ounces sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
  • 10½ fluid ounces quick-cooking oats (or porridge oats)
  • 3 tablespoons coffee (cold, or orange juice or alcohol)
  • sprinkles (or toasted chopped nuts or shredded coconut)

  • Add sugar, butter, vanilla and cocoa to a bowl, stick your hands in and make sure it well blended.
  • Add the oats , make sure it well blended.
  • Now add as much liquid that it forms a ball.
  • Now roll the dough into 10- 15 balls, roll them in sprinkles or nuts or coconut.
  • Leave them to set in the fridge for 10- 30 min.

    I use alcohol for more an adult flavor. Sometimes I dipp the chocolate balls into melted chocolate but then they need to be frozen for 10 minutes or they will melt.
