This month’s Cookalong is a recipe from SIMPLY NIGELLA. The name of the cake says it all – it’s Nigella’s Dark and Sumptuous Chocolate Cake. You begin the recipe with an easy chocolate icing that, once made, sits and thickens as you bake your cake. This process is incredibly simple too - you just stir together the ingredients, some of which may not be in your usual baking repertoire, but the intro to the recipe will explain all. Ice your cake and scatter with edible rose petals and chopped pistachios, or decorate as your heart desires. Photograph your chocolate cake, add your caption, then send it to us, and you will then be in the running to win a signed book of Nigella’s. We will upload your entry, and will announce the winner after the end of the month.
